Shipping Restrictions for DHL and FedEx
Along with our general Prohibited Items List couriers such as DHL and FedEx have some additional restrictions that must be adhered to in order to use their service. The following items cannot ship via courier services at Blackship.
Please note that due to COVID-19, FedEx and DHL are among the ONLY shipping options to many countries. If FedEx or DHL do not allow it, you will have to send it via Seamail if that option is available. For countries where only FedEx and DHL are available, we were unable to send any restricted items.
FedEx Restrictions
Shoes (to the US) | Including sneakers, boots, sandals, and all other footwear. |
Beverages | Including soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, etc |
Food | Including any edible product |
Liquid items | Including cooking oils, cosmetics, cleaning liquids, soaps, etc |
Lens (that may include prescriptions) | Including sunglasses, eyeglasses, and microscopes. (These are banned even with no prescription.) Does not affect the camera lens. |
Clocks and Watches (to the US) | Including wristwatches, pocket watches, wall clocks, table clocks, etc |
DVD/Bluray/VHS (to the US/Canada) | Including all video-related media |
Car/Bike Engine Parts | Including all internal parts of car and bike engines (screws, small caps, etc are acceptable) |
Jewelry | Silver, Gold, etc |
DHL Restrictions
Beverages and food can be shipped with DHL but require specific declarations. Please contact us if you do not find your item on the food list.
Food (containing Meat) | Includes any item that contains meat including instant ramen/noodles with powdered meat. Snacks are OK. |
Liquid items | Including cooking oils, inks, cleaning liquids, etc. Beverages are allowed. Cosmetics without ethanol are allowed. |
Car/Bike Engine Parts | Including all internal parts of car and bike engines (screws, small caps, etc are acceptable) |
