COVID-19 Delays

Thanks for using Blackship! We hope everyone is remaining healthy and safe during these turbulent times. To keep you up to date, we will be updating this article with known delays due to the current pandemic.
September, 10, 2020: EMS and Airmail shipments have begun to resume for some countries but long delays are still expected. Countries added to EMS include South Africa.
November, 27 2020: Japan Post has suspended EMS and airmail shipments to Canada. Please check more details here
April 14, 2021: Japan Post has suspended EMS and airmail shipments to Kazakhstan and Cambodia.
May 19, 2021: Japan Post has suspended seamail shipments to Canada.
June 1, 2021: Japan Post has added Tentative Extra Charge for EMS shipments to major countries in Europe. So you might notice a certain increase in the EMS shipping fee. Please more information here.
June 25, 2021: Blackship has enabled EMS to the US. Before the pandemic, EMS generally takes 3-5 days and ships with tracking. However, the Japan Post website presently mentions that pandemic-related shipping delays are expected. Please check more information here.
FedEx Delays
FedEx has ceased handling Economy shipments to many countries. We have launched FedEx International Priority which handles shipments to most countries.
DHL Delays
DHL has reported general delays of up to 4 additional business days to most countries with some services halted to Wuhan, India, and Libya.
However, there may be delays with shipping DHL from our warehouse due to restricted working hours.
Japan Post Delays
Japan Post has stopped all shipments to some countries. Before ordering, please be aware that we may not be able to ship out your package for some time, even if shipping is currently listed as available. We expect shipping availability to change daily.
