What is the Blackship Wallet?

Your Blackship Wallet is a virtual balance that holds credits you can use anywhere on the Blackship platform.

• Processing & Shipping Fees: Wallet funds are automatically applied toward the processing and shipping fees for your packages.

• Other Fees: Any additional fees that come up on the platform can also be covered using your Wallet balance.

Whenever you have funds in your Wallet, they're used automatically before your saved payment method is charged.

You can top up your Wallet directly through Stripe. Just click Fund on your Wallet page, enter the amount you'd like to add, and choose your preferred payment method. Once the payment clears (typically a few business days), the full amount will be credited to your Wallet.

If you'd like to move funds from your Wallet back to your original payment method, you can request a withdrawal directly from your Wallet page by clicking Withdraw. Please note that promotional credit is non-refundable and cannot be withdrawn, only funds added via Stripe top-up or issued as a refund are eligible for withdrawal.

Your Wallet page displays a few different balance types:

• Total Balance: The full amount currently in your Wallet, combining all funding sources.

• Withdrawable Balance: The portion of your Total Balance that can be withdrawn back to your original payment method (funds you've added via Stripe, or refunds).

• Promotional Credit: Non-refundable credit issued to your account, this can be used toward fees but not withdrawn.

• Incoming Balance: Funds that are still processing, such as a Stripe top-up that hasn't cleared yet, or a refund that's still being finalized.

Any refund issued through our service, whether for a shipping adjustment, compensation, or another reason, is credited directly to your Wallet rather than back to your original payment method. From there, you're welcome to withdraw the funds to your original payment method whenever you'd like (unless the refund was issued as promotional credit, which isn't withdrawable).

Do Wallet funds expire? Funds you've added or received as refunds don't expire. Promotional credit may have its own expiration terms, which will be noted at the time it's issued.

Can I use my Wallet balance for a partial payment? Yes, if your Wallet balance doesn't fully cover a fee, the remaining amount will be automatically charged to your saved payment method.

How long does a withdrawal take? Withdrawals are typically processed within a few business days, though timing can vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

Can I withdraw promotional credit? No, promotional credit is non-refundable and can only be used toward fees on the platform, it cannot be withdrawn to your original payment method.
