These requirements are mandated by Japanese law and apply to our operations in Japan. Identity verification is therefore a legal compliance obligation, not a discretionary policy.

Document handling and storage:

• All document data is encrypted during transmission.

• Stored data is encrypted using the AES-256 algorithm.

• Documents are uploaded through a secure, one-way process. Customers cannot re-download previously submitted documents.

• Documents are used only for account verification.

• Once verification is completed and your account is approved, internal staff no longer have routine access to your documents.

• Documents are securely archived for legal compliance purposes only and are not used for any other purpose.

Access to archived documents is strictly limited to our CEO and one Engineering Lead.

We implement the following security measures across our platform:

• All pages require HTTPS.

• HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) is enforced to ensure secure browser connections.

• Passwords are hashed and stored using the bcrypt algorithm. Passwords are never stored in plaintext.

• We do not store your debit or credit card numbers directly.

• We maintain PCI compliance to ensure your credit card information is protected.
