What is the Blackship Rewards Plan?
The Blackship Rewards Plan is a premium membership program designed to help you save on shipping and service fees. Simply put: the more you use Blackship, the more you save!
This plan is an ideal choice for customers who:
Frequently order from Japanese online stores.
Order periodically but ship in large, consolidated batches.
Regularly utilize specialized services like photo requests or package consolidation.
As you accumulate points, you will advance through higher membership tiers, unlocking deeper discounts and exclusive savings.
What are points, and how do I earn them?
When you enroll in the Rewards Plan, you begin at the Goldfish tier. While this initial level shares the same pricing as our Basic Plan, earning points allows you to "level up" to superior tiers with significantly lower costs. At our highest tiers, several of our most popular services even become FREE!
How to Earn Points:
Spend-to-Earn: You earn one point for every $0.25 spent on Blackship services.
One-Time Bonuses: You can earn hundreds of points instantly through specific actions, such as:
Joining the Rewards Plan for the first time.
Consolidating multiple packages.
Requesting Express Processing.
Ordering a Photo Request.
These bonuses are designed to help you quickly jump to the next membership level so you can start saving money immediately. You can see price benefits for each tier listed on our Pricing Page.
Points are valid for one year from the date they’re earned. For instance, any points you collect in March 2025 will expire in March 2026. Keep shipping to hold onto your current status - if your point balance drops too low, you'll move back to the previous level.
How much does the Rewards Plan cost?
The Blackship Rewards Plan is available for just $1 per month, billed annually ($12/year).
How can I upgrade from the Basic Plan?
Upgrading is quick and easy for existing Basic Plan users:
Dashboard Banner: Look for the Rewards Plan banner on your Mailbox page and click it to go directly to your billing settings.
Account Menu: Click on your avatar to open the dropdown menu and select Billing.
From the Billing section, you can opt-in to the Rewards Plan and start earning points on your very next shipment!
