Guide to Using Your Address
Using your Blackship address on Japanese websites can feel tricky at first, but many online shops use similar address fields. Tools like Google Translate can help you understand the form as you complete it.
If you are ever unsure how to enter your address, you can email us clear photos or screenshots of the form you’re trying to complete, and we’ll be happy to guide you.
Please note that some companies do not allow shipments to forwarding warehouse addresses. If our address is not being accepted, you will need to contact the store’s customer support directly to confirm whether they allow shipping to forwarding services.
Where to Find Your Blackship Address
You can find your Blackship address in your account:
Log in at blackship.com
Click your avatar in the top right
Select "my addresses" in the drop down list

Common Address Fields & What to Enter
Below are the typical Japanese address fields you’ll encounter and how to fill them using your Blackship address:
Country (国)
Enter Japan / 日本
(Some sites may ship internationally, so it’s good to confirm.)
Full Name (お名前)
Enter your full name exactly as shown on your Blackship account.
The name must match the name registered on your Blackship account or a registered alias on your account.
Furigana / Katakana Name (フリガナ)
Some sites ask for your name in Japanese katakana. If required, you can use an online katakana converter.
If the site asks for your name in kanji and you do not have one, you can enter your katakana name in that field as well.
Last Name & First Name (姓 and 名)
If the site splits the name fields, enter:
Last name (姓)
First name (名)
Postal Code (郵便番号)
Example: 221-0013
If the form has two boxes, enter:
First box: first three numbers
Second box: last four numbers
State / Prefecture (州 / 都道府県)
Choose Kanagawa (神奈川県) from the dropdown menu.
City / District (都市区 / 市区町村)
Example: Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa-ku (横浜市 神奈川区)
Neighborhood / Town (町域)
Example: Shinkoyasu (新子安) - include this with the street address (1-2-4) if needed.
Street Address (番地)
Example: 1-2-4 - this is required for delivery.
Building / Floor (建物)
Enter your building info and mailbox:
Example: 4階 BS-KXXXXXX (6 digits are unique to each customer. Please use your specific K number so your package is correctly organized into your mailbox).
Make sure to include both the floor and your K-number.
Remaining Address (住所)
If the site does not separate fields, paste all remaining details here.
Phone Number (電話番号)
Use the warehouse phone without dashes:

Quick Tips
If the address form doesn’t fit, try removing spaces and dashes (e.g., for BAPE Japan).
Always use your full K-number so the package is correctly assigned to your account.
If you’re confused about where to put something, it’s safer to include all details in one field than to leave it out.
