How We Prepare Your Packages

Edited

Ensuring your items arrive safely is Blackship's top priority. We meticulously repack everything to meet international shipping standards, protecting your purchases on their journey from Japan to your doorstep.

Want an inside peek at our packing process? Here is a breakdown of how we prepare your shipments.

Sturdy, Lightweight Boxes: We use durable corrugated cardboard boxes. They are strong enough to withstand international transit while remaining lightweight to help keep your shipping costs down.

Protective Wrapping: Your items are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap or other specialized protective materials. We intentionally leave a small amount of space around the items to insert supplementary packing protection.

Cushion Paper: We line the box with cushion paper to prevent your items from shifting during transit. These sheets are incredibly light, providing crucial shock absorption without noticeably increasing your package's final weight.

Final Layer: Items are wrapped in a final layer of packing paper for ultimate security and protection against the elements.

Distinctive Sealing: Each box is sealed with our signature Blackship tape, making it easy to recognize your package the moment it arrives!

Documentation: Finally, your invoice and any other required customs documents are securely attached to the exterior before the package is dispatched.

Special Packing Techniques: For irregularly sized items or high-volume orders, our warehouse team utilizes special packing techniques. Rest assured, we always balance maximum safety with minimizing box dimensions and weight so you save as much as possible on shipping.
